Programme Overview
This will be the foundation platform for your career in IT.
You will learn how to assemble, configure and service a Personal Computer system. Each student assembles a Personal Computer from components provided by the institute. The operating system is installed on the assembled and configured under the supervision of the tutor.
Computer assembling covers the basic concepts of trouble shooting, and installing Windows XP and Vista operating systems. The concepts of the Local Area Network and principles of networking are covered.
The course content is essentially "hands-on", and much is completed in workgroups.
Entry Criteria
Some prior computer knowledge / experience is an advantage, though those with no prior experience may be admitted as ITTI provides additional support and Professional Development classes to provide the best possible outcome to your educational experience.

9 am – 3 pm (Mon - Fri)
5 pm – 9 pm (Mon - Fri)
Qualifications
IT Training Certificate in Computer Servicing (Technician) (Level 5)
Students are prepared for the latest CompTIA A+ Certification examinations, and the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) exams.
Employment Opportunities
The MCP, A+ and Network+ are internationally recognized qualifications that can lead to roles as: Computer Service Technician, Help Desk Support, Computer Desktop Support, and self employment providing IT Support.
Pathways to Higher Qualifications
MCSA, MCSE, MCDbA, National Diploma in Computing, and ongoing degrees.
