Certificate in Website Design and Desktop Publishing (Levels 2 & 3)

Programme Overview

Students will develop and consolidate basic knowledge and skills in desktop publishing and web design. They learn how to use and operate Dreamweaver, the basics of Adobe Photoshop version 7.0, and Macromedia. Students will also become familiar with the Apple operating environment, using E-Mac computers. In addition basic computer and business skills will be learned. Professional Development modules are included.

Entry Criteria

• Students must be at least 18 years old and have completed their high school studies.
• Some prior computer knowledge / experience is an advantage, though those with no prior experience may be admitted as ITTI provides additional support and Professional Development classes to provide the best possible outcome to your educational experience.

Duration

14 weeks full time 9am – 3.00pm Monday to Friday

Qualifications

• National Certificate in Computing Level 3
• IT Training Institute Certificate in Web designing Level 3
• IT Training Institute Certificate in Desktop Publishing Level 3

Employment Opportunities

Graduates will find opportunities in general office roles, advertising, marketing, desk-top publishing, graphic design, printing and may also become self employed.

BAC 4; Web-Design 4, National Diploma in Business, and Graphics courses.
